more power on a budget


cold air intake

Has anyone had success using one of those K&N cold air intakes? I'm a big fan of their filters but have only used the drop ins. Was wondering if the kit is actually worth the $.

dont be fooled by "cold air intakes" and claims of gains with exhaust systems or e-fans. these simply do not work.

in short, "no".
 
before porting the maf read the maf mod tidbit i posted and see if you really want to do it or not. im not saying it doesnt help but keep in mind the potential side effects.
 
K&N Kits are good for looks, and thats about it, the only thing that adds horsepower from a Cold Air Intake is the K&N Sticker. Because we all know stickers add 5 HP each!!!

ordered my underdrive pully set from http://stuffforyourranger.com/store. got 57 days till im back in the states and cant wait till the install. next is the 1:7 rollers. as you are i am on the budget train myself but take your time and choose wisely. the guys on here give out great info you only have to be willing to take it in.
 
Wise choice in selection. The pullies do a good job all around.
