WTF is wrong with the wipers in the above pictures? I'm in IL and we never put our wipers out like that.

So am I (way up north) and I do it every time. Beats the hell out of playing 'where's the wipers?'

The main store BX. I use to work at the AAFES shop 1 gas-station in the automotive garage. Until Firestone took over and I got rifted.

Do Jenna and Johnny got to work at 0300 in the morning?

Okay, just I have never done that, I usually let the truck warm up, defrost on, no problems, or put cardboard on windshield. I typically don't use wipers until the defrost is up to temp.

Yeah dude it's understandable. I try to save gas and just get in and go after I start it up, so I'll pop up my whipers the night before a storm, the next mornin start the truck, off the windshield, drop the wipers and head to town.


And to answer you LJM, Jenna works at Tinker Outdoor Rec. so no early mornings for her, and I don't know the exact hours or place but Johnny works nights.

I have found covering the windshield with anything before an ice storm makes a big mess, because whatever it is will freeze to the windshield.

I flip the wipers up until it is over, keeps them out of the way and ice free until you get the windshield clear.
