the rags over the signal light and lisence plate is cause the reflecting light from the flash messes up the pic.

getting there! more pics soon of the bed cage and rear quarter panels!

I like the rear frame...I might do that when I rework the rear of my truck.

yeah i wanna keep it EFI.. i want it to start in the cold mornings of Northern Ontario! soo mustang ECU, GT40 Heads, After Market Cams.

But what Cams i know theres different lifter and duration. mustang cams are??

any intakes that i can buy to eliminate that damn double intake?

Maybe use my imagination and build something... with a K&N

i have a Flowmaster 40 Series that was on my Mazda when i first got it. i think it will be a fine addition with a high flow CAT
also seen someone changed the truck to Mass Airflow Sensor. this could help with a lean gas mixture after some exhaust and intake changes.

i was told theres longer header are better for torque is this true? and does anyone know how much they cost!

You can buy any mustang intake, I have a stock, ported one I would sell you throttle body and a mustang 'B' cam. I also have the springs and locks for the e7 heads to match the cam. And now that I think about it, I have a speed density ECU for it all too....there you go. Switch out all that stuff, change your firing order around to the HO order and now you have more power. If you are interested, send me a PM.

you have a PM. soo stay SD EFI? dont get MAF? do i have e7 heads????

Yup, you should have E7 heads, those are truck and mustang heads. And yes, stay with SD, no point in swapping unless you plan head swaps or something major.

Only other thing you will need is 19lb injectors, orange tops incase you don't have them on the motor, not sure if you do or not.

how can i find out if i have e7 heads? any markings somewhere?

soo no way to find out unless i start taking things apart?

I don't think so....I will have to do some reading to find out. But I am 99% sure that is what you have.

did some research and asked around.. i was told the e7 heads come from trucks. thanks Wiki :P
also told that i will need different distributor gear type. and also told that "B" cam will not work properly with speed Density. but how is that possible if its the same year engine with the same ECU matching the B Cam.

The B cam is aftermarket Ford Racing product. It should work fine with the speed density, I didn't run it but know people have. It dosen't have any huge lift or super long duration where it will mess up the mapping to much. Might have a little choppy idle, but that should be it. If you are worried about it, I could give you a few pointers on switching to MAF, but IMO, I would try the speed density stuff first. Save you a few hundred bucks.

And I am pretty sure they put the same distributor gears on all roller camed engines, could be wrong.

quote from foxchassis
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/5-0l-tech/137670-5-0-vs-5-0ho-differences.html

H.O. = '82-'95

All H.O. 5.0L engines had:
351W firing order ('82-'84, and '85 CFI, had a cam from a '73 351W Torino)
double roller timing chain

'82-'84 H.O., and '85 CFI H.O., did not have:
different heads than non-.H.O. ('86 also)
roller block (late '85' CFI did)
roller cam
forged pistons (late '92+ also)
headers (late '85 CFI did)

'82 = 8.4:1, 157 HP
'83 = 8.3:1, 175 HP
'84 = 8.3:1, 175 HP (4V) or 165 HP (CFI)
'85 = 8.3:1, 210 HP (4V), 165 HP (early CFI), or 180 HP (late CFI)
'86 = 9.2:1, 200 HP
'87-'92 = 9.0:1, 225 HP
'93 = 9.0:1, 205 HP (GT/LX 5.0L) or 235 HP (Cobra)

Non-H.O. 5.0L engines got roller blocks and cams in the mid-to-late '80s.

Glad to see you are doing your research. Also, the multiport injection came out in 86, but were SD untill 88(california cars had MAF) and then in 89 all mustangs had MAF.
