Mike's '93 4x4

that looks sick. except if you want camo do it in where the white is on that truck. in the real tree style

Hmm, didn't realize it'd already been done.

well, anyway ya do it will be fine....

Back to Mike's build here... pullin' the motor isn't THAT hard really... a whole lotta sensors though! Me and a buddy pulled a 350 Vortec once... that sucked. There were like 34858478379 sensors!

I'm sure it isn't but at this point I may just get that shit done once an not mess with it any more. You know?

I've got no room in my shop to pull the engine right now and the crane isn't in the jack. This is one time I'll let those that know what else they are looking for handle it and get it done right up at once. I'm selling off my set of kick-ass winter tires from last year so I'll have some extra cash to get it done. Once that's done I can get back to all the little things I enjoy working on, not the same coolant issues over and over again.

ive never pulled an efi motor before. i did pull a cab off a truck though which still involved unhooking a bunch of sensors and crap. best thing i found to do, was mark a piece of tape on every sensor with "A" wrote on it, and an "A" wrote on a piece of tape on the plug that goes to that sensor, then use "B" and "C" and so on. but thats only if you arent framiliar with the wires. i done so much crap with a 2.9 that i knew every connection.

a carbd motor on the other hand, well they rule. i had the motor out of my 79, including removing the front core support, in a matter of 1 afternoon no problem lol

Still no advancement on the truck. Really starting to annoy me. It has been sitting now for some time, I figured maybe I would just drive it but from the looks of the last time I started it the coolant leak has gotten substantially worse. I just want my truck back:bawling:

I know how you feel. Both my trucks are getting worked on right now. :bawling:

So I'm stuck with the crappiest of crappy company trucks until I get mine back. :icon_rofl:

Yeah, I'm in the Cherokee until it's fixed. Good enough rig but I drive so defensively while I'm in someone else's car I can't enjoy it. Plus the 1980's stereo is FTL.

I feel like I'm missing something without my truck:icon_twisted:

lol, please...

This truck has no front bumper
The speedometer doesn't work
the check engine light is on
the seat won't adjust
the passenger mirror is smashed in and someone put a giant 4" fish-eye mirror on it to hold it together

To top it all off, there are 2 fishing poles and a fishing net in the back. I have absolutely no idea why there would be fishing poles in a pest control truck. :icon_confused:

and THAT'S just the stuff I noticed my first day of driving it. :icon_bounceblue:

Someone likes to fish on company time apparently

If you want to go fishing and you've got a bug truck, you don't need a rod.

Just pour a couple gallons of the good stuff into a stream, watch how many million fish go belly up.

Here's hoping the truck can at least get diag'd tomorrow. Then I can get parts coming to get it it fixed. If I can be running the road by next weekend I'll be happy.
