wow , i read this entire thread today , i must say , awesome work and keep it up
For what its worth, my understanding is you dont have to balance those tires. They run pretty good up to 80 without. At least according to the tech I was reading, the same thingwith the new General Grabbers. And I think the Falken WildPeak A/T's Alot of the newer tires are not needing balanced due to technology, awesome truck bud.
LOL sure you r mirror isnt wobbling?
Hey Mikey, take 'em to your work, pull ALLLLLL the weights off them, break the bead on one side and throw approx. 8oz. of those 'air soft' bb's in each tire. Seriously. Works top notch AND you don't lose any balancing weights when wheelin'.
You know I was told the same thing about radiator fluid for a good balance and my wheel about hopped me off the side of the road, have you actually tried this?
Yep, been running my old style 33" MT/R's like this for about four months. Smooth as can be.
I have a coworker that used to do a lot of car audio as a business so he's going to help me out with the install.
On a lighter note I spent a bit after work BSing with Matt while he installed the CAI in his F-150. That means soon I'll go through the process of making it fit on the Ranger. I'll take lots of pics for you multi!
Awesome. Make sure to take lots of pics, maybe make a tech library article out of it!
