Mike's '93 4x4

Mike while you are in there doing the waterpump check the idler pulleys to make sure the bearings are good... Mine went south and seen another Ranger this week with the same issue... It could save you some time!!

Thanks multi, that completely skipped my mind. Pulley + tensioner check.

Hey buddy, I just got done doing my idler pulley and tensioner, and a new gator back belt....order it through rockauto.com, i got mine for CHEAP.

Ill try and remember to get you those pics of the cut out carrier bearing member tonight.

Well, I finally spent the $10 + change and got a premium membership.

Expanded my sig, I've been joking with a friend I should get Level III put on the bedsides, I was thinking of getting 2001 FX4 Level II decals and getting another I made up. We'll see:D

I'm feeling it:headbang:

I couldn't get the stock steel 98 shaft to quit rubbing on the tank....but mine was hitting the brackets that hold the skid plate itself. I ran it like that till I mangled the shaft in a rocky creek one weekend. I got a custom shaft built out of the ends of my old 2 piece shaft. That was it was smaller tube, but I went with a very heavy wall. I've got 3 of them 1 Piece shafts in my shop tho....collected them from work for spares.

That's not what I wanted to hear Ryan:dunno:

I guess I'll see in a hurry, if it looks like it's not going to work I'll just put in a new carrier bearing and live with it.

What are you running for rear leaf? Chevys?

The stock Ranger leaves, just rebuilt by a spring shop up here for little more flex.

Ah, my problem was with my chevy leafs, they allow quite a bit of movement.

Oh ya, I see what you mean now.

The driveshaft should be in this week, this weekend I'll get the other brake line done and replace the lower shock mounts on the front. Other than that I am entirely sure it'll pass safety.

:yahoo:

Hey buddy, here ya go, sorry the trucks a little dirty. Make sure you trim the CRAP out of your gas tank skid. I just made sure to round stuff off and paint it.
