Mike's '93 4x4

mine is steel, from a 98 ranger. I just cut the whole thing out. I can take pics if you want. I beat the LIVING PISS out of my rig, its ok if you remove that support member.

I believe mine is coming from an '01. I got it from Dave down at Ceegee's auto recyling in Richmond. They sell only Ford parts and they're awesome to deal with, Dave even went over to it himself to make sure it was steel. It would be wicked if you could grab some pics for me Nate, that way I can form a game plan when I install it.

Under light throttle it is actually about the same as the '98 and under heavy throttle it will move. It's that roll-on that really lets you know about how terrible the gearing is. I think we have a deal Nate!

That 4.0 of yours has lots of power its just got too much gear, ask Dweano what it was like driving in my truck, he thought it was a sports car compared to his truck on 33's with 3.73's. Gearing makes all the difference.

I have been considering working up north for a year or two when I finish Dent school (read another 2 years). If so it'll save ya some postage :D

You hit me up if you come up here Nate:icon_thumby:

Well I got the '93 down to the shop today. Parked it next to an '89 F-250, which it is taller than:D

Should be able to do the water pump this weekend, and then... we shall wheel!

So I've got a buddy that is big into graphics. He is an absolute wizard with computers. I've got him to do a couple tribal designs for me and I asked if he could do something with a picture of my truck. And he did, check this out!

Hey Mike, use some WD40 on that mirror to get the adhesive off! Works like a charm. :icon_thumby:
