Anyone else in here do some sort of art with metal? I like to make things from car parts. Lamps, mostly.

Nothing real fancy but I have made some yard art out of junk. Only pic I could find was this snake, I made a few others though-

I've made a bunch of trophies for our club event too. It is a 4x4 rock crawling event so there are lots of broken parts and I try to reuse broken stuff to make trophies. These were from 2023, that hook deal weighed like 30 pounds:

Very cool! I dig the snake and the trophy's from broken parts. That's a good idea

I thought my Rangers were yard art…

I love the cam lamp. I have a couple old sbc cams kicking around actually.. might have to try to make one myself.

I have a small metal shop and a bunch of stuff for that, but lack the artistic creative vision....and anything I do come up with is usually phallic, or just boobs and butts.

I have bunch of old keys I was thinking of making into one giant key.

I have a bunch of hardware like huge anchor & carriage bolts, lags, washers etc...would like to make something like that hardware mousey w/ it.

like to doe something cool with old motorcycle parts...chains, sprockets, exhausts etc...maybe a pipe lamp..

Tl;Dr... 11 thousand year old stone in turkey found that has a dude standing there holding his wiener while surrounded by leopards carved on it.

They'll always be funny.

My old boss had an artistic streak. He made a bunch of neat stuff and used to sell it. Here's a roadster he made.
