I took on the project to make my ranger look a little better. It's a lot cheaper than a paint job and I think it turned out pretty nice.

Interesting. Did you apply it or someone else? What did it cost? Have any pics of the process?

I thought about doing this also. It looks great! How about some before pics?

Unfortunately I didn't take pictures during the process. It wasn't hard to do. Just some quick tutorials on YouTube and the basic understanding of the process. The entire project cost about $300. I don't have any great before/afters. Here is something I threw together.

Look GREAT! See alotta commercial vehicles with the wraps, so they must be pretty durable.

So I take it you bought the kit to fit your Ranger and then installed it yourself?

I calculated how much material I needed and ordered it off Amazon. To cover a truck this size it will take 60"x50'. This includes extra material. It's always a good idea to buy extra in case something happens in the future and you have to re-wrap a panel. Learn from my first mistake: I ordered some vinyl for this project but it was only enough to cover half my truck. Once I ran out I tried to order more and the supplier simply said, sorry we don't make that color any more.. this wasn't very long after I ordered it. I have to start over and lost the $ I had in the first wrap. You'll need a good vinyl wrap install kit that comes with felt squeegee (Amazon) and a heat gun (harbor freight). And watch plenty of YouTube videos for dos and don'ts.

what's the actual brand / color you got?
I have been planning to do most of mine In Avery Bright Blue Matte Metallic.
No easy feat, if you've never worked with vinyl before, in my opinion. Nice job!
