Master Cylinder outlet port question

I have an 1982 Mustang that I just converted to Manual brakes. I used a Master cylinder off of a 1986 Ranger with power brakes due to the fact the outlet ports go toward the fender which gives me more room.I think the 86-93 Ranger were the same. I bought it new from Summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DHB-M39567/?rtype=10 What I just realized was that I'm not sure which outlet port is for the front brakes and which one is for the rear. I need to make new brake lines from the master to my proportioning valve. The port closest to the firewall is 7/16" .The rear port is a 9/16". Figured you Ranger guys could help.Any help would be appreciated.

The resevoir should be devided into two parts, the larger resevoir is for the front brakes the smaller is the rear. That being the case the outlet nearest the firewall is usually the front brakes and the other is usually the rear brakes.

My old cast iron master cylinder the front resevoir was the large one and it went to the front disc brakes. The new plastic resevoir I can't tell which one is the larger, because it has one fill point

Can anyone with an 86 to 93 Ranger take a look under their hood? Just want to make sure.

The front brakes are closest to the firewall.
Rear brakes toward front core support.
Hope this helps!

Thank You! I know it will work either way , but feel better knowing how it is supposed to be.
