Has anyone found a decent way to run a manual T case and a full length center console? Oh,and I have a 5 speed so the hole in the console is already occupied.
I am thinking I may be able to put a 90 dergree bend in the lever and bring it out through the side of the hump in the floor, but I will have to get my hands on the t case first:D

Those lights look pretty good on your truck :D

I thought so, I still cant believe KC replaced all 5 with black 130w. they even sent me new covers with them. I really like them I like the look of them on my backrack. I think I may get the rectangular chrome ones powder coated black. I bought some 130w silverstar bulbs for the rectangular ones too.

How did the chip work out?

your idea is the only way to do it

I think I may try bringing it through the side of the console instead of the floor, but I havnt played around with anything yet. I am not sure about a boot, I think i will make a slotted hole with brushes or rubber flaps that would allow the lever to slide back and forth and keep the hole sealed up no matter where the lever is.

if you do that bend the shifter to a 45 deg angle right were it comes thought the floor then slide it thought the side of the console and make a slot in the console for the shiter to move. should look pretty clean when its dont

I am debating cutting up my console, because I dont want to mess it up. I have never run across another BLUE interior Exploder with a full length console. I was planning on swapping my whole interior for gray just so I could put in a console. but I lucked out and found an Exploder with a blue interior(I didn't even know if they made them or not) I ended up painting the OHC because I couldnt find a blue one, but it is up high where the sun wouldnt fade it and it wont get scratched. I think green is the only color more rare than blue.

i have seen several blue ones but never picked them up you could always paint the console blue. me i painted me whole interior black i dont like any of the stock colors

I am always worried that the paint will scratch off or the sun will fade it. I know with the proper prep work and the right paint it will stick forever, but I just never liked the idea of painting plastic interior too much.

i use the duplicolor interor paint and i love it with good prep it sticks great and looks good

Awesome. Gave me some more oomph to compensate for my new 31's. Didn't notice much change in fuel mileage though (I was getting 24 before and 25 after). This is probably due to the rolling hills of western pa...

My next task is the cylinder head. I got a 97 head, intake manifold, and throttle body complete with fuel rail and injectors with 43,000 miles on it. It is getting a major port and polish, a Racer Walsh stage 1 roller cam, and an Esslinger timing belt kit. I might deck the head a bit too if my budget permits. This project is going to take a while, but I have a starting. The chip has inspired me to see what this little 4 banger is capable of. :icon_rofl:

BTW, I don't remember if I ever complimented you on your bumpers, but the more I look at them the more I like them. :icon_welder:

To make a productive contribution to this thread, I will suggest using a early 90's f-150 transfer case boot and floor assembly. It was adapted to the curved side of the tranny tunnel. I have see them in blue before. This would just require you too extend the handle on yours or try to fit an f-150 shifter lever to your application. There were pretty common too.

idk how you would get an f150 linkage to work all he need to do is a little bending on he is good to go

It looks like I will be picking my manual t case up tomorrow, so I will be posting some pics of my shifter setup soon. Only problem is that my t case wont be coming w/ linkage, so I need to hunt down a shifter and what not.
