hey guys, i was looking for some ideas for a maglite holder, post some pics of what you got

I was going to mount mine on the tunnel but decided to mount it in the back right under the cargo net

theres a guy on a another ranger site dont know which one but he sells these mounts they bolt to the seat mounting bolt and hold the light snug under the seat pretty slick. ill try to find it i think its on ranger power sports. time to time i just browse the other sites if i cant find anything on here

for that price (and free shipping if you meet the $25 total order), how could you go wrong?? just my $.02.

Exactly my thoughts! I won't be heading home for another 4 weeks so thats why I have not ordered them yet. Also I have heard they can be found at ACE, Truevalue, Parkrose etc. hardware stores.

thanks for the link bud. and i also thought abuot mounting them on the windshield pillar inside, like probably on the passenger side so it wouldnt affect your vision while driving, or up on the roof or something

Yeah that would be cool. I have read on some other 4x4 forums that they are actually pretty strong so be careful where they are mounted with enough backing behind them you don't just rip it out when you grab your light if that makes sense...

dezertrangers.com. user's name is Alon, he has a thread for them in the classifieds at the bottom.

is the suction cup to keep your window from falling down?

It's more of an anti-theft device.

The power window is shot, but it'll mainly stay up on it's own, just fine.

Its there to keep it up and tight in the winter, and to prevent some bozo from walking up and pulling the window down and stealing my stuff.

How about Alon’s Mount ?
Fits under to the seat and mounts to one of the seat bolts.

Do a search on either MAG-lite Mounts or Alon, you might get something.
