Kind of a maybe if I sneak up on one thing. Truck already has a M5ODR2 in it and as a 3" bodylift.

I am mainly after the better gearing, low and reverse especially.

Length is the same so driveshafts are a non issue.

Clutch hydraulics are the same.

Clutch itself (and starter) are the same.

Being from the OBS truck the shifter would be farther ahead.

Anyone have any other details on the effort to put a ZF in a Ranger?

How easy to rebuild the ZF? M5OD was pretty fun to rebuild.

Pictures would be awesome, especially shifter placement.

I can cover the rebuild somewhat... it's more of a pain than an M5OD as the WHOLE rotating assembly comes out and goes back in as one piece, and at least on my S5-47 it weighs a mere 120ish pounds? Other than that the rebuild wasn't too bad, my front case half is fried though, I need to get more creative sometime late winter and pull mine again...
