While you have the clutch out make sure to have the flywheel resurfaced or for about 20 bucks more you can get a new one at the parts store.

what do you mean?have you checked to make sure your not pushing fluid through the slave?
i think this is the most common mode of failure for the ford slave. its hard to explain but basically its leaks from the seal around the bore. pull your rubber inspection boot ( drivers side of the bellhousing) and take a peak up in there. if anything is wet near that slave cyl then its the cause of your issues. right now mine is doing this so every morning i have to bleed my clutch master before i can drive it. its actually quite bad when its cold, if i leave the clutch depressed for ohh 10 seconds my pedals on the floor and im down to perfect shifting lol. buuut once the slave warms up from the heat of the clutch it quits leaking or at least slows down. go figure right
