i agree. once off the slimed pavement or on hard pack my muds do what they do with top abilities.
the military units are ok when siped....i offset cross sipe the fronts which really made a difference in steering.
i leave rears straight siped as i dont rotate these tires...just run em down and give them away at 40 percentish. when i was rebuilding the rotted ripped up bridging i took some pics and the rear tire just happened to get in there.
only pics i have. but 35 percent gsa's out perform 95 percent uncut goodyear oz mt's.
the roads i sometimes drive on drift 6 feet or more with 10-15 in snowstorms....which would stop my cherokee cold....but it was stock with 235 tires. even an 8 in storm could do it if the wind is right. the main reason i never properly finished installing my 6.5 was because the winter was so bad that year i had to use my ranger.
of course like previously mentioned...my ranger is not exactly stock either.
