Hey guys, new here but I’ve been into Rangers and project trucks for a while. Finally decided to dive into building one of my own.
I’m in the middle of putting together a drift Ranger and figured I’d start sharing some progress here. The truck is a 1988 Ranger that I swapped a 1994 2.3L into. Right now I’m piecing together a Microsquirt setup to run it.I was wondering if anyone else here has done a Microsquirt on one of these Lima 2.3s? I’m especially interested in wiring tips, base tune info, and any tricks you’ve learned along the way.This is my first time Microsquirting a Ranger, so I’d really appreciate any advice before I dive too deep. Thanks in advance!
Build Goals: cheap and reliable drift truck, Microsquirt-managed 2.3, welded diff, hydro e-brake, and eventually some boost once it’s dialed in.
