I have a 94 ranger that had the lowside port valve loose the piece that closes the hole when done using it. I cant find a new one to replace it. checked 3 different kits from kragen and none of them worked. Thats probly part of my problem going to kragen. the kits are retro kits to switch from r12 to r134 In my manual it says that the 94 uses r12. the tubing has stickers saying r134 is the refigerant. Im getting frustrated and just want to replace my damn schrader valve. Any ideas would be much appreciatedhttp://www.therangerstation.com/forums/images/smilies/beer

go to napa. they should have them.

does the fitting have threads on it or is it a quick connect fitting?

if the valve itself is GONE then yes you'll need it... but if its just leaking.. put a cap on it

A 94 Ranger would use r134a, not r12. The low side port is located on the accumulator isn't it? Worst case scenario, you replace the accumulator. They're only about $30.
