This afternoon I was driving my truck and it was fine. I went to go out tonight and my brakes were nearly non-existent and the ABS light and the brake light on the dash both came on. The brake pedal seemed to drop almost straight to the floor but there was a tiny bit of braking power left, thank god. The pads and rotors are new within the last 5000 miles so i don't think its them. If anyone can help that would be awesome.

You've got a leak somewhere. Check your fluid level and then look for a brake fluid leak along all the hard lines and flex lines.

check the wheel cylinders also...that was my problem...brake fluid was leaking from mine and caused my ABS light to be on.

Definatly a leak in one of the brake lines. I just had my rear left one go on on me last week. Luckily broke when I was on my way into the shop for a new tranny part. But check for leaks on the ground underneath the tires and axles. Should be about 25 bukcs to fix.

Thanks, I found it today, haven't gotten around to fixing it yet but it ended up being just a pin hole in one of the rear brake hoses
