Does anyone know where the plug in the picture goes. It runs along the harness by the injectors.

Could also be your IAC Valve plug looks similar to mine

Here, let me go take a pic for you, back in a sec...

edit - Black plug on mine goes right here, in the side of the intake manifold.

There is also a white one here, right behind thermostat housing.

They can't go on the wrong plug either.

Hope that helps.

Iac plug is squareish and has 2 pins. The one in his pic was round and 3 pins.

I have yet to see a round IAC plug on a Ford. In 11 years of tinkering in the driveway and 6 years of working on them professionally I have yet to see a round IAC plug on a Ford.

I am not sure that you are looking at the IAC.

And for the record, I just went out and looked at the IAC on the 89 engine in my 88 BII. The plug is D-shaped, not round.

Even if you have some screwball one-off round pluged IAC, that doesn't really explain why you would have a 3rd wire to run a solenoid like an IAC.

in the middle of his first pic, the round plug... is not an IAC
it's the Air Temp Sensor. However, I'm not sure how many wires it has... I think just 2?

I don't think it's a sensor plug... most sensor plugs have the little tab you have to pry up to take off.. that one doesn't have the tab. Just an opening like it just plugs into more wires..

or I guess the O2.. since it plugs into more wires and not directly into the sensor.
