Lost on 99' 3.0L

Have already replaced the TPS and have difference in idle from plugged and unplugged.

The starts right and for the most idles fine. When you try to give it gas it will start to spit and sputter. Gettig 55 lbs fuel pressure. Has new MAF, tps, all new gaskets from the head gasket up, new plugs and wires, cps and syncro. The other day I had unplugged the flex fuel sensor and it ran like a top but then the next day it ran like crap again. Not kicking any codes. Checked for vaccum leaks with can of brake clean all over top half of engine. The iac looks to be fairly new. I have only had the truck for about a month now and still have not been able to figure it out. Had a shop take a look and they did a quick look over and told me it had an internal vaccum leak. The reason why did all new gaskets but not just lost with it. Hate to get rid of it but need vehicle for work pretty bad tho. O did have codes for running lean bank 1 & 2 but when put new maf sensor on that havent came back yet. Thank you to everyone that can help.:icon_confused:

Did you have this issue before the heads were pulled? Why were the heads pulled?

Did you have the issue with the old MAF and the lean codes?

Pulled all the way down from the top to the head gasket looking for internal vaccum leak like shop said it had and put all new gaskets in. The lean codes was on it when hauled it home. Ended up replacing downstream O2 sensor and havent seen those codes sense. With the old MAF or the new one MAF. Was just messing with it and replaced one vaccum line. If you play with the throttle just right can get it to rev up 4k to 5k, but when put it gear its a different story. Getting tired of the truck and wife has me about talked into getting rid of it.

The down stream O2 sensor replacement would not solve the lean code issue.

You need to be able to read PID's to solve this issue. IMHO.

Dont have access to system to read PID tho. Have to actual test equipment sorry.
