Looses RPMS When Warm (couldnt blow it up warm if i wanted)

then we can go on from there. if its not fuel pressure then it could be a bad sensor that is "lolwut"ing the computer when it goes into closed loop. like a bad O2 sensor.

also its not very clear on what exactly is happening? is it bogging down? or is it cutting out/jerking?

Symptoms start to appear after driving to gate and back about 15 mile rnd trip speeds from 20 to 50 mph on the way back i start loosing power and can only rev it to 2 grand 2.5 grand just depends on how sick it is so i have to start shifting at 2 grand and gets week cant pull hills ect not jerking more like bogging down or loosing cylenders or fuel but the latter not being the case.
almost seems to me like the truck goes into limp mode but my ford OBD reader isnt pulling the code for that.

have you put fresh gas in it?

how full is the tank and how old is the fuel?

I have ran prob 100 to 150 dollars worth of gas threw it as well as fuel system cleaner and heat

This week when i get a new camera/camcorder i will get video of the symptoms and the tests and results of the test posted as well as some pics of the truck .

I will also be editing and cleaning up my posts in the thread to make it a easier read.

FWIW, mine is doing the same thing, EXCEPT I know that it happens in closed loop mode. Pulled the wire off the O2 sensor, and it wasn't as bad. I am leaning towards low fuel volume, just trying to figure out how to check that.

hate to hear it. I ran mine with it unplugged as well same issue. i love the used for in your tag sounds right. I might have just found another ranger 88 same as mine hope it pans out rear end is out of it but motor et all nice body not in bad shape ither now im gonna have 2 campershells ne one looking for one.

find a good diff in a JY and you'd have TWO to fix all the time.

Son used to want to be a mechanic until he bought this. NOW he wants to go to college.

yah that looks like what is going to happen. oh well i have 2 boys that will hit driving age about the same time. one will get one that is street legal and one will get a 4 wheel drive mud monster lol. this sets me up much better for a conversion ect. Im gonna pick the best of the two to make the daily th other is getting stripped to the frame.

did the accumulator thing, problem like yours is still there, except that i get about 5 minutes before it acts stoopid.

How's yours going? tank fix it?

tell you all what, I would love to have another BII, but with a 5 speed, and a first gen.

Robert
