Looking for throttle body

2002 ranger edge 3.0, throttle body shaft seal is leaking. Anyone know what years are compatible with it? Or how to easily repair it?

I know they changed the upper intake manifolds in 01, but I'm not positive they changed anything from about the throttle body. Just to be safe, 01-08 should work. 98-00 may also work, but I'm not positive about those years.

If my memory is correct the throttle plate shaft is upstream of the MAF. If that's the case then I doubt any leak there would cause rough idle. I also think a 2002 should not be experiencing significant leakage there.

Just my thoughts to maybe save you going down a blind alley.

The MAF is upstream of the throttle body on every Ranger that uses a MAF. So a leaking throttle body will cause issues and taint the MAF readings.

Of course it is. My mistake for not just looking. MAF is right after air cleaner box - duh.
