Hey All,

Recently bedlined my 03' ranger's lower body and fender flares.

(needs a clean pretty badly!)

I'm debating back and fourth whether or not I should do the same to the bumpers..

I figure I could just commit to the look, or maybe plastidip in case I change my mind. Maybe use plastidip as a base under bed liner?

I figure these are my options:
Bed line the plastics only
Bed line the plastics and chrome
Plastidip the bumpers instead
Plastidip, then bed line the bumpers
Leave it as is, looks fine

Would love to get opinions from everyone! Figured I would make a poll here!

Hey man, I've had some experience with doing a very similar thing with plastidip and bedliner.

In answer to your options

Yes, bedliner the plastics under the chrome only.

The chrome on the grill ties in well with the chrome wheels. If you black it out it wouldn't match the wheels.

Plastidip would be good if you want to try the look but not commit. However it tends to peal and flake after years of being exposed to the elements so I wouldn't make it permanent.

Tagging on to what I said above, plastidip is not the most durable, so using it as a base for bedliner could likely end in peeling and flaking after a few years.

If you like the way it looks now then leave it! I think it looks good but I'd personally bedliner the plastic under the chrome.

Hope this helps man!
