there's used performance accessories body lifts on crags list and on here cheaper than a hospital bill for a major problem. ( wood blocks and hokey pucks are never a good idea it's been beat to death on here.)

^ +1 On that... would rather be safe than sorry. Right now I'm gunna save up for my new engine or the rebuild whichever comes first.. Doesn't mean I can't have a little fun though...

My dad gott done at the corning plant up there last week and his executives bought him it all week , but he said those lobsters are twice as large as anywhere else in the US

when i did my b2 body lift, i used aluminum blocks that were spacers for a freightliner semi's gas tank.. worked great, and working at a semi shop, we had plenty... all i bought was bolts, washers, and nuts for it. i had $40 in a 2.5 inch body lift.

If you want reliability and economy, sell it and find a 2.3l 5spd. 4 wheel drive would be a plus but theyre hard to find in decent condition.

The only problem I see would be changing the wiring for a computer (assuming it has one) and trying to find one in the Northeast, let alone a 4x4 for my truck model ( I have the XL 4x4). My dad said look into a 2.9 an a 5spd for my 4x4, he had one and he beat the crap outta it all the way to 369,000...

I dont mean swapping the engine i mean selling your truck and finding another one. IT meant the whole truck not the engine haha

put a 4.0 in it. if you keep stock size tires you shouldn't loose too many MPG's

I'm searching for Exploder's left and right... I'm sure I can dig up a decent v8 somewhere... rangers are so damn hard to find in junkyards. I thought about a diesel but seemed like far too much work..
