It's crapped out, the major defect with this model is the pressure release bolt, it's made out of a softer steel and the seat distorts over time, then your jack will not jack up without excessive force.(which further distorts it)

I liked the jack because of the large wheels, I can roll it on packed in gravel, and it has that speedy lift.

Looking for a replacement, any recommendations?

I have a long arm jack from harbor freight or northern tool, I can't remember which now. It's made by Big Red Jacks. And it goes from 5" to something like 31". It's great, I can lift my lifted truck by the frame, all the way until the suspension is sagging and the tire comes off the ground, all without stacking cinder blocks or 2x10's under the jack.

This one is the one I have. It goes from 5.5" to 31.5". The one you linked to only goes up to 21"

At to the one you linked on sale, it has low clearance, but you don't need that for a truck, you need height. It's nice sometimes to lift the vehicle from the frame without compressing the suspension.

But, they both are quite a bit cheaper then the one I linked to.

So how do you lower your model of jack? Do you have to twist a release bolt?

That is my main conern, a good durable release mechanisim, not som chitty soft metal bolt that eventually results in a useless jack.

You don't twist a bolt. The knob at the very top of the handle turns and it is extremely smooth to regulate. If you want I can take some pictures to show you the top of the handle, the website doesn't show it.
