Looking for a "little height" for the '90 4x4...how's the 2"-3" body bushing suspension ride experience different from an OEM bushing replacement?

That kit will do nothing to the suspension. All it does is raise the body off the frame.

I know it's just a body lift, but I am going to have to replace them anyhow, as they are old of coarse. I was just wanting to know if there is a ride quality improvement by just having replaced the bushings (I would think so) and adding a little height without cutting my fenders. Would like to run a little taller tire....And are those bushings going to become a problem if I decide to go with a 3 or 4inch lift later on ?

Body bushings are stiff, body lift blocks are hard plastic, neither will change the ride, maybe a tiny amount but negligible.

Many people combine body lifts and suspension lifts, it's common and they don't interfere.

You should be able to fit 31" tires on a stock '90, the front bumper might interfere a little which I'm not sure of since when I went 4x4 I ditched the stock bumper...
