Looking for 16.5 rims

Yea, you aren't gonna find anything in stock ranger bolt pattern unless you buy a set of custom re-centered wheels.

Everybody that has them on a fullsize is dumping them because they are pretty much a dead end for tires unless you want to run military stuff. Your truck doesn't look like the military tire type...

I was thinking about trying to running a set of military tires my buddy had setting around if i could find a set of rims for cheap but dont think that it would be the best idea lol

All major companies still make real offroad tires for them. Remember mil take offs come in all the time and they are cheap double beadlocks. As far as 5 on 4.5" goes good luck TWF will recenter beadlocks for you but it won't be crazy cheap. Not to mention good luck with that combo on the D28/7.5" or even a D35/8.8" 28 spline.

Cheap? Mine where $250 a wheel and I have removed the valve core and drove around the block to loosen the tires up a bit. The tire stayed on the wheel with no problem. I know plenty of people running the trailworthyfab wheels with swampers or 40"+ tires and they do great.

That being said, yes they are far to heavy for a d35 ttb. And you can't air down a 16.5" wheel less than ~15 psi without a double bead lock on mil wheels. They don't have a safety bead to keep the tire seated. Also from my experience mil tires are stiff, heavy, and while not bad they aren't to great in any on/off road scenario.

As a parting note good luck trying to balance TWF wheels. Mine would probably need a couple of pounds in weight, and you can't use rim weights.

We just ditched a set off of our service truck because the only tire in that size still available was a wussy AS street tire (Firestone Transforce H/T) and they were way overpriced for what they were compared to a comparable size in 16". They were a stock sized tire, 9.50 something something 16.5.

I did mention military tires. IMO unless you are going to run military tires they are a dead end tire/rim.

$250 a pop is cheap for double beadlocks in any size. I currently run 16.5's as we speak with 38.5's on them they are tubed. I run 4PSI on the trails without an issue.

The mil tires are actually pretty good on the road. Snow, rain and wear pattern are quite good on them. They last for a looooong time. Just a little tidbit some rims have a safety bead some do not. Most stocker rims actually do have them.

If you want a stock tire size yes offroad tires no. My 38.5's are no more expensive in a 15, 16, 16.5 or 17 same goes for most larger tires.

Diamond racing will make 16.5s with any backspacing, width, and bolt pattern combo you want for around 150 bucks each. I looked into it when i was thinking about mil tires. The are super stiff though, but I see them for 80-100 each with half tread or better on CL all the time.

My truck has these tires and they aren't that great. They are bad in the rain, are a very hard compound, and do decent enough off road. I run them cause they are cheap tires. I got 5 for $200.
