Want to run this circuit next year : http://www.cmamudracing.com/2010rules.pdf

Now I'm looking at trading my stang for this: http://www.racingjunk.com/category/1155/Mud_Racing/post/1990845/1988-ford-ranger.html

Now will I compete with this at all? I want to have fun first but competitive would be nice. Do not want to spend alot as money is tight(why I'm trading) but wanna go fast :D.
Trading 98 gt vert stick stock with 98,000 miles that's really nice and driveable anywhere(arizona car until 2 years ago).

Any info or help

First, I can't help too much because I don't mud race. BUT, it would help other people help you if you just copy and paste the pertinent rules that you're going to race under. Nobody wants to sift through 16 pages of rules and then figure which is applicable to you.
Good luck though,

Richard

I'm trying but it pastes it in gibberish.

Thank you will keep trying until I get it.

Hopefully someone has an easier idea...
Print the rules, scan the ones you're interested in, copy to photobucket, copy the 'img' tag, then paste into your thread.
As you can tell, I'm computer illiterate.
Good luck,

Richard

I'm worse then you trust me :).
Will try it should have it done by next week sometime LOL.

Read through the rules and seems like I'd be running against some stout machines. The body swap and uncorked headers put it in a class with 3 second if not 2 second machines.
Does anyone know much about bogs(that's what I've seen them called)? Are they just for fun or is there something to them?

Mud bogs are fawking boring out here. The trucks that do show up are not much more than stock rigs with larger tires, although there have been a few exceptions.

The mud drags, on the other hand, are freakin sweet! Went to one last summer that had 40+ trucks, from all over. One guy was from Georgia and had a 2000+HP Dodge Dakota. I'd much rather get into this than just mud bogs.

There'll be a 'bog' at the races I'm going to this weekend. I'll snap pics, they'll be in my build thread.
