Look what I found!!!

They have been out for a long time. Many years ago I was going to order one of their bumpers, but changed my mind. The thing sticks out way too far for my taste...then another $150 to powercoat it on top of the $550 for the bumper then shipping cost is not really cheap. I just thought I would not be happy with it for all that expense. Their produts are very good.

Yeah...I was more interested in the coilover conversion.

Which do you think would be cheaper...that coilover conversion @ $3500 or SAS'ing my X?

It is. I'm just not sure what I want to do with it yet.

I don't want a "dedicated" rig....I want to be able to do a little of everything with it while keeping it as my DD. So this setup just might be the direction I go in.

Now...if I could just find $3500 laying around... :icon_idea: Anyone wish to donate to the "99 EB Explorer needs a suspension upgrade" fund?? Anyone?

With that bumper you got on now and a lift, you will be styling.... and a roof rack and that is the cats meow!!!!!

That's the plan. I want a Yakima rack. They let you customize it quite well...including spare tire carrier and a side mount for a high lift jack and a shovel...and mounts on the front for tha lighz of course. lol

Yes for Yakima. I love mine. I later added the Yakima Basket Case. It holds up to 150 lbs (as much as your roof rack can hold acorrding to Yakima.

i'd say SAS it... it's more "usable" to me, in my parts anyways... now a well bit prerunner ex would be drop dead sexy...lol.. i couldn't see $3500 and not be sas'ed

^ that's what I was thinking to myself too. Coilovers seem a bit under par considering the amount of money. But that's also an insane amount of travel. Only problem after that would be finding a rear end setup to match the front.

but when do you need that much travel? i mean... yeah its nice to have. but its still not sas'ed. what do you want to do with your truck? exactly? that's gonna be the deciding factor b/t coil overs on ttb or sas. rock crawl, trail ride, dd-- can all be sas'ed. prerunner, high speed offroad, dd-- is coilovers.

or at least that's the way i see it..
