Look what I found!!!

but when do you need that much travel? i mean... yeah its nice to have. but its still not sas'ed. what do you want to do with your truck? exactly? that's gonna be the deciding factor b/t coil overs on ttb or sas. rock crawl, trail ride, dd-- can all be sas'ed. prerunner, high speed offroad, dd-- is coilovers.

or at least that's the way i see it..

That's the way I see it too. And I have been known to make a truck take to the air on more than a few occasions. lol. How well would an SAS setup do in the mud? I'd assume not nearly as well as a coilover. And mudding is going to be the main thing it does offroad. I do like the idea of rock crawling, but there isn't much to crawl on around here.

I'd rather have SAS in mud than TTB.. But yours is regular ifs right? SAS'ed would probably improve your strength a lot

what's the deal with the retarded positive camber on the demo truck in the link?

^ ive read its about the same as the old RCD kit round about 5-6 inches of lift. In my honest oppinion, its not worth the money if your looking for an off road rig. However, you want a street rig its probably a lot smoother and better ride then a SAS. By the time you pay $3500 for the kit, and atleast another couple hundreds in other parts and accessories you may need, you'd be better off with the SAS, which will probably cost $2500-3000 with the majority of the parts being brand new or in good used condition.

search cl or junk yards and you'll come out way cheaper. but if you have a $3500 budget... i'll set you up a hell of a set up for that price lol. i'm good at spending other people's money!!!!!

Actually...you can get camber adjusters which take care of that very easily. I had them installed when I lowered my '93, but they work on a lift too.
