i cant be the only person from northeast oklahoma here can i?

Of course not.

The rest are to embarrassed to post.

I was just messing with you and too lazy to pull up the smilie screen. I'm sure a lot of great things come from Oklahoma.

Well...

Grapes of Wrath does. And I think the Clampetts. And the Sooners. And I think they coined the term fly-over country while flying over it. Lots of good things to be proud of.

Are there any cities in Oklahoma? Tulsa is mentioned in a Don Williams song.

The Clametts are from Tennesee. :icon_thumby:

lol, oklahoma is only bad if you are from a big city. I know it is hard to get used to us country bums. Im from oklahoma but the army has taken me to germany and Iraq. next they are moving me in with the steers and queers of texas. But I will always end up back in oklahoma. Im from OKC and my wife is from tulsa. in fact in a coupledays I willbe in tulsa. If you ever want to try to meet up send me a messageand I will tryto make time for another member.(sorry my typing is horrible. coke got spilled on my laptop)

im from tulsa and its not too bad. its a big city but there is still not alot to do which sucks.

yeah. I think the worst part about tulsa was how confusing it was to get around the first couple times. makes OKC seem easy. but GPS and not listening to my wife directions helps alot.

haha. its actually pretty easy after awhile since its a grid. never been able to figure out OKC though. I can get to bricktown and the the hockey rinks since ive been there so many times.

lol. what got me with tulsa was you HAVE to take the highways or you wont make it anywhere anytime soon. and downtown in either place is a PITA since they have all the one way streets. I'll be in tulsa next week. gotta stop in lawton and OKC on my way back to OK from ft bliss.

i avoid downtown if at all possible. i hate the one way streets. there have been a few times where i find myself going the wrong way on them. we do have the new BOK center which is really nice

guess I'm lucky that I live in Stillwater. Oklahoma is the greatest. I would not go anywhere else to live or raise my children.
