Locked the keys in truck.

If i lock mine in my truck I just do what the local populous does when they want to steal stuff from my truck and thats pop open the sliding glass winder and crawl through.

After watching the video I tried unlocking my '98 supercab with no luck.
Does the trick only work on later trucks?

i never lock my truck. in fact one of the first things i did was pull the relay for the power locks, since that switch could be easily hit by accident. i dont even have anything in the glovebox, theirs nothing to steal, so let 'em have a quick look then move on. without any broken windows for me!

I don't lock my vehicles. The keys are probably rusted in the ignition. I moved here from living in a string of big cities so it took a few years to dial down my paranoia. I don't think I even have a key to my house.

Ok, here is the best way to unlock the truck...

Step 1: build time machine

Step 2: Go back in time to before you locked the key in it

Step 3: (And this part is important now) DON'T LOCK THE KEYS IN THE TRUCK!!!

NO. Get extra keys made and keep a spare in your wallet like I do just in case.

I accidentally lock my keys in my truck all the time.

I keep a spare key in one of the credit card slots in my wallet because that thing never leaves my possession.

I used to have it duct taped under my plastic bed liner but too many people saw me doing that at school.
