when did the lunch bock locker get so pricey? they where like $200 a few years ago. any one have any other ideas to lock a 7.5, besides the welding the spider gears

Everything has gotten expensive in the past few years, nothing is all that cheap anymore.

That's why I plan to weld the spiders on the D35 once I'm up and running. Not going to pay $300 for a time bomb.

You can maybe add an extra side gear shim. I've done it on the d-28 and on a 9". It doesn't last forever and it it wears out the rear quicker but it's cheap; $5.00 shim plus oil.
