would i be ok with getting a 3 inch rc lift and have 235/75/15 and having 3.73 gears i want to be able to go 65 atleast so i can be able to go the speed limit atleast

I ran my 00 Ranger with the 3.0L, no lift, 3.73 gears and 235/75/15s for a long time. It'd do 70/75 no problem on the highway.

ok cause right now a lift is cheaper than new leaf springs for the back

Err...I don't see how any of those things would prohibit your truck from going 60-65 on the highway. On a separate note, do the Chevy leaf springs in the rear. It's only as expensive as the leafs. You could probably find them for less than $50 at a junkyard

His thing says bronco 2. Its always possible to make it work but get ready for some fab.

And yes you will be fine with a 3in lift and stock tires. but whats the point of lifting if your keeping the stock tires? atleast get 31's. Those will also be fine with 3.73's.

Yea I have the 4In rough country lift with 31s and 3.73 gears and I can do over 70 easy my last gear is useless though

I personally like Explorer 4-door leafs as a swap... you have to flip the center pin but they'll get you 1-2", more if you add a leaf to the pack or do a chevy drop shackle. And they woln't sag out like stock leafs on a BII.

And BIIs came stock with 215/something or other tires, 235/75/15s would be jumping up like two sizes. I ran 235s on my 89 Eddie Bauer BII that I sold (shouldn't have) with 3.73 gears, ran great like that.

ok thanks guys im gonna get it next paycheck and yea it has 215/65/15 and they look small for a stock height

what 3 inch rc lift would u guys recomend i dont wanna have to buy anything else just to lift i just wanna buy the lift and thats it

I dont believe that they sell a 3in for the ttb. They have the 2in coils and the 4&6 in kits.

Also you will not get a kit that includes everything you need with one purchase. Need brake lines and camber bushings.

if i get two inch coils and get f150 leaf springs will that require camber brushings or what ever i wanna do it the cheapest i can with actual lift springs in front

James Duff sells a 3" and a 5.5" kit.....

There are often little things that are not included in kits....

I went through cobbling together my own lift on my choptop. I picked up some used 3" coils and the axle pivot drops from a Duff kit, then I added F-150 spring perches in the front to get around 5" of lift. For the rear I did an extra leaf in an Explorer pack and a chevy drop shackle to get around 5" of lift out the back. For brake hoses in the front, I used the tech archives, theres a thing about extending front brake lines. The only thing I didn't care for was the 3" Duff coils were kinda stiff.

F-150 leaf springs are longer than stock springs, you'll have to move your mounts to make them work.

IIRC, a 2" lift is as high as you can go without having to change your axle pivot brackets and radius arm mount. I went to extended radius arms long ago.

And yes, you will need an alignment and possibly new bushings, I'd get adjustable ones, I read somewhere about getting ones from Napa, I'll have to look up the part numbers later.

Mine was just under 500 shipped to my door, and came with everything I needed except the tools to do the job of course. I did have to add the sway bar drop brackets to the lot, but that depends if you have one on the front and if you want to keep it.

You could piece it together cheaper but I didn't want to bother plus this had a warranty  and I'd guaranteed to fit and work with no other added parts. If you don't keep the sway bar you may need to extend the brake lines. I kept it and have had no issues with the stock lines so far. They are just long enough, I may extend them later just because, but I'm happy with it. :D

Almost anytime you do anything thing with lifting or lowering ttbs you will need camber bushings... Not saying every time but there is a good chance you will.

No lift kit that I have seen has come with camber bushings. Napa, $35 a piece for 3 1/4 adjustables.
