Painted an mounted. Its nothing too aggressive but it is designed to be used. Its tow points go directly to the frame and the center section is designed to hold a winch

i really really like it. its not big and gaudy, yet is tough and functional. pics of the winch mount set up?

thanks, thats exactly what i was trying for. As for the winch mount, its just a plate that will sit in between the frame rails. The plate will sit on the bottom lip of the frame rail to keep the winch in the bumper and protected by the center section. The tubing part of the bumper itself won't actually have any force on it when pulling or being pulled. all the tow points and winch mounts go directly to the frame

only got a custom rear bumper right now.. still using the stock front one until i build a nice beefy one..

rear bumper is made out of 4"x4" square stock steel.. it was originally built and bolted on my '88 S15, but then i decided to take it off and put it on the ranger.. had to build some new mounting brackets for it as the frame rails of a ranger is narrower than a s15.

heres a couple of pics of mine, both use 3/8" structural channel and are mounted to the frame with 4 1/2" grade 8 bolts and nuts.

its my first, but its strong. wsed an old warn transformer winch bush guard...now i want somthing low profile. but not too good at designing things so!!
