this is very nice. If you don't mind, I would like to use this as inspiration to build mine. Could I possibly bother you for a ballpark on the material costs?

thanks a lot.

Just saw this, sorry for the late reply....guessing on material costs as I had the material already, I'd say $200 tops? Don't worry about using 'my' design, as I used several others influence in building it....

Hahnsb2, I am in lust for your front bumper! How much do you want to build another? I'm not that talented. MJ

Thanks. I'll build one for the cost of materials and $15/hour labor, here's a couple other bumpers I've helped build for friends, not RBVs but maybe it can still give you guys ideas.

Bottom tube was removed on the Heep bumper and winch plate welded in place as well as the KC lights were mounted on the top tube like mine, just don't have a pic.

In this pics you can also see on my bumper where I added steel to the side of the winch plate to the vertical supports to fill the gaps.

Meh I'm not out to make a fortune (at least while doing work on the side), but if I ever obtain the skills (I really only have basic fab skills and tools) and means necessary to open a 4x4 shop I'd surely have to charge more than that. I'm probably going to start working with the waterjet at work which would greatly speed up cutting the steel plate and brackets as well as making them accurate, cutting everything with a 4 1/2" grinder takes forever.
