Let's build a boat...

First of all. I deliver to Ace Stores
Called the Ace General Store in downtown Spokane.

That drive looks crazy btw. Looks like they are running that with a big block GM. Also, note the plumbing coming up under the motor right into the water pump. That guy will blow through motors in salt water, and will probably blow through drives using it in rivers here. That said, the thing looks badass :shok:

They are experimenting with 3 cylinder and 5 cylinder engines for passenger vehicles already.
Have been for some time. '90s Metros had 3 cyl 1 liter piddle motors. I keep getting this itch to go pull one and make something out of it...

That style of diesel engine though were the pistons come together.

'50s Rail engines. They called them "Deltic" engines. Put 3 banks of these together to make a triangle. Big fawkers. Got the job done for years.

I always like the looks of those older diesel engines. They had a style to them that today's squared off boxes don't.

I love the rumble of those things. These old beasts shake you as they roll by. Raw, fully mechanically-controlled horsepower.

Old-school rail shows and rail museums are something I love to go to when I can find them.

Railroads don't exist.

**** diesel.

Yeah I said it.

Fight me. ??
IDI is the ****. They'll run anything. Used motor oil? Tranny juice? Brake fluid? Fry oil? No problem. Heavy & slow but you can run them for almost free.
