When I tore apart my front end to install the lift kit, I took a silver marker and labeled the sway bar ends port and starboard so I would put it back right.

By the way,... i drove this mess 2 1/2 hours home yesterday. No rear sway bar. No problems. Even got up to 80 mph for a few seconds during my brief time on the interstate.

Never drove so far with my accelerator nailed continuously to the floor. I gotta replace my 3. Slow.

Steering was normal. There was weight on the front. The front of the bed had a bunch of copper wire. Plus there were 3 big cans of diesel in the bed. Weight distribution wasn't too bad.

The way modern thought processes work most would say you need a modern turbodiesel to move that kind of weight :rolleyes:
 
I'm open to a bunch of possibilities. 4bt, TDI, OM617, 5.0L, LS, The newish diesel in the Colorado, I don't know.
It's all going to boil down to price and availability when I do it.

Is this your place? I'd love to have a small house with the ampacity to run a 10,000 square foot shop! Those electric panels are a little overkill?

And to carry on with nothing to do with the thread....How about old style gas generator to fuel your engine...generator that use wood for gasification..? It was pretty common between the WW1 and WW2. I want to put one in my truck and enter the 24HOL [24 Hour Of Lemons].
