So i recently just changed out my lower and upper ball joints on my 01 ranger edge 2wd and while we had the wheels off and the unit that has the brakes and everything on it off as well, we turned the key forward and turned the wheel and promptly after that we had a drip coming down on the drivers side of the wheel well that in turn looked like power steering fluid that came out from the reservoir cap??? maybe but now my truck leaks a tremendous amount of fluid that looks like its coming right out from the boot by the outer tie rod on the drivers side.. can anyone tell me if this is a catastrophic even for my front end? or maybe just a hose somewhere has fallen off?
