I think I have found the problem of why my 94 3.0L is acting up once it is shut off when warmed up and then is restarted.
It appears the water pump is leaking. My question is the water pump has a weep hole on the bottom near the bearing fit. Im guessing that this is to show that the water pump needs replacing or that it is for freeze protection? My first thought of it being an indicator comes from my Yamaha manual, saying the water pump on my motorcycle will begin to leak when it is about worn out. Any ideas the exact reason for the weep hole?
