Um,NO. I value my PRIVACY very much! I support the employment of my bank's tellers also, they know me by name. We are people, not machines.

I guess I did get a late paycheck, back when I transfered from 2nd shift to 1st Shift.... I had to get my check from my second shift supervisor. Also if I had vacation in on Fridays, then somtimes when I was two paychecks ahead, I would get TWO CHECKS the next Friday.

We used to get payed Friday, then something changed with payroll and it was Monday. Now we get them Tuesday or Wednesday. It can vary per week.

We went to direct deposit at work to save paper. We can go online to check out our "paystub". It pretty much sucks but the employees did'nt have a choice in the matter.

i know that they are supposed to pay and i'm kinda worried about them going belly up.. but in my case i'm working for my best friends dad and with my dad e being a flake he was there. so it's pretty much like i'm working for my dad and it's important to see them make it too. that and to find another job would be incredibly hard right now... i at least have the security of knowing that i will be paid... sometime, instead of sitting at home not making anything

Needless to say, we could all run really fast, which comes in handy if you are dealing with troubled youth, like I was at the time. You don't work for a school district do you? If so, don't worry, just buy better running shoes

I don't know about laws in IN. but here in MD employers have to offer you 2 choices of pay normally check or direct deposit. Employers kinda push direct deposit because it is easier for them but it is not mandatory. If you do not like direct deposit I would look into your states laws for employers.

I worked at a place like that before. We built manufactured houses (Fall Creek Manufactured Housing, which flopped eventually). I worked in the mill room running a table saw, and we were always one of the first groups out every day, luckily. One day the appliance delivery guy came back and loaded the appliances back up on the truck, then BFI quit picking up the garbage, then we would go on lay off for a week to wait for homes to sell so they had money to buy more materials. It sucked.
