Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

Yeah it could very well just be the perspective, because the math doesn't add up to how mine looks like yours in those pics:icon_confused:

Kyle, I forget, but how much lift does the air shocks give you at ride height?? I know you only have 2 or 3 inches of up travel on them, but as far as how much lift from stock?? Need to figure out how and what length I'm going to mount mine. :icon_thumby:

Couldn't ell ya. Really it all depends on how you set them up. You could set it up so you have no lift. I have 3" to 4" of uptravel and I would guess I have somewhere around 4" to 6" of lift.

My truck is the same rear width now as it was before with the 10" wide rims. Going down to 8" wide made me lose 4" of width witch I gained back with the spacers. I did gain some inside tire width:icon_twisted:

Here are some better lighted pictures.....looks the same I guess.

Your front is where ford should have put it to begin with. I've always thought the fronts were too far back into the wells from the factory, like the body team and the suspension/driveline teams weren't working together.

When you get a free minute, would you mind measuring your wheel centerline to your fenderwell lip, thanks :icon_thumby:

Make that the top of your fender since you have trimmed yours too :icon_thumby:

LOL, it is hard to measure! I went to the body line and I got somwhere around 32" depending on how you look at it. I had about 34" at the rear body line. What do you have?

I have 36" to my body line (between the fender lip and the top of the fender), bu I also have a set of tires in the bed and my car trailer hooked up... will measure them on monday when I get back from the trip...

Now it is time to just make it safer just incase, oh and maybe some paint so it is all the same color.

so all in all how long did it take you to get from the hitting of the tree till you we're wheeling agian? it went pretty quick

I smashed it June 18th and had it back out on the trails early October, right about 3 months to build the frame, do a cab swap, SAS and get it running. I was slacking too, lol

I have a good wife.
