another thing i noticed....a two into one 3 inch netted me the best bottom end feel.
i had straight pipes for years out the sides and that was great on the road, but a decent 3 in single made a big difference on bottom with 303 type cam...well a basic gt40 setup and good tune. on bottom i mean off idle to 2k...and that was regardless of cams...
i went to a few truck type cams and hated it...the stock one falls on its face at 5 grand...they did lug 1500 rpm better...just were slow to wind up.
