I had a 4bta, they're heavy and you can really only pull 3k rpm out of them. I want more.... LQ4 was an easy decision.

Did some dinking around today on the truck, installed my gauges, then put the mustang steering wheel in...It goes good with the shifter knob. Ready to go wheel it, I feel pretty good.

I also wired the high speed side of my fan direct with a switch incase it starts getting warm I can flip it on, and as a back up if the fan controler acts up like last time out and the fan doesn't come on. I was gonna buy a fancy controller but after buying a 60 I figured it could wait....lol

Oh, and BTW, that gauge pod sucks, it points the gauges upwards ands makes them hard to see, I guess it was worth the 20 bucks but still....

and what about a heat gun? maybe you can het the plastic enough to bend the gauges down to see?

Yeah, bought it back. Insurance never had the car either. I have been parting it out.

The pod, it isn't too bad where I can't live with it.

Haha, it took it and wanted more! Was a great day yesterday, I have a bunch of pictures and video I need to upload yet. Only real damage yesterday was my rear extended cab glass, broke out the passenger side one. Messed my box up more, might need to just take of off now, hardly holds the tail lights in anymore LOL. Maybe a flat bed of sorts....hmmm.

So yeah pics will be up on a little while!

I love the look of the box too, maybe if I can find one in better shape to rework, this one is getting pretty beat, makes my truck look like junk.
