+3 stability. really lookin forward to puttin fullwidth's on my truck altho the B2 project is what really needs the stability

I knew that one was gonna catch some slack!

If I go full width I will only abouty 1" wider than I am now anyway. And there is nothing lazy about doing it, still alot of work!

You do a SAS on your truck and say you are lazy....it's a lot of work!

Been kinda doing nothing with the truck for the last couple of weeks, still waiting to hear if I am gonna get warranty or not.

I did manage to strip the new HP housing tonight so I am get it under the truck one of these days, I am a little disappointed, I was told it had 4.10 gears in it, but it had 3.50 gears. Now I still have to buy a new carrier, o-well. Next week I am gonna start buying parts to start the axle swap, putting the HP in front and the explorer axle in the rear. Prolly gonna inboard the springs on the rear and build a anti wrap, drive shaft guard also.

Something else, I cut my sliders off the truck, time for some new ones, ones that hold air......

I will update when I have more to show!

will be waiting patiently :c-n:

l8r, John

It this good or bad??? Not quite sure where you are going with all of this.... LOL

I will have a 1 ton rig one day, till then I will run 36" tires and chromo shafts:icon_thumby:

Oh Cmon you guys... you turned the point I was trying to make into something it wasnt meant to be...Your all spending too much time over at pirate :thefinger:

Obviously FW is more stable, but at the same time, what are your priorities??

If you like hitting the trails I like hitting, you aint gonna do it with FW axles... now if your into Crawling and thats it... of course wider is better... however, if you want the most bang for your buck, using your multipurpose compact rig, than IMO, FW aint worth it....

And the Lazy comment came from the fact that FW swaps are gaining popularity on this site, mainly because you can "git-r-done" by swapping them directly over from a 70's fullsize without much modification, and, again, IMO (yes, just my opinion) a lot of the FW swaps look like ass on RBV's, and limit the truck more than help.

With that being said... Awesome build FW or not Kyle... Continue on :headbang:
