Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

Interco doesnt actually make the tires. The sub it out to other manufacturers. The main one was Denman tire. Denman tire went out of business a couple monthes ago. That is why there is a shortage on Intercos tires. Denman also made tires for Pitbull and thats why there was a shortage on them also.

i know they dont make their own tires, but it has their brand label on it, and thus need to sort out all the discrepancies with their brand.

Hey Kyle random side note, last night I had a weird dream that I was walking around town and saw your truck and was showing my dad what I was gunna do with mine......haha I have weird dreams

they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.......

so, with that said, i think i will be putting my SC on a regular cab frame.....but i don't think my bed is worth bobbing....

keep up the good work.....

l8r, John

Went out wheelin again today, got a whole day in too, was a lot of fun. No action pictures, i was alone(brought my nephew) so i only had a couple poser pictures, seen one, seen em all.

I did manage to beat on the truck pretty hard today and all seems really good! I bent my tie rod, added a few new dents to the body, lost a lot of paint off my sliders and radius arms....but I am glad nothing major happened!

I did do something stupid though, decided to 'go around' a mud hole in the 'easiest spot' and found out it was way softer than it looked. By the time I saw it, it was too late, sunk in right up to the bumper, alone. So I yanked out the high lift, hooked it to a tree and winched myself out.....that sucked. I ordered a winch last week, guess I shoulda got it sooner! But we made it out and had fun.

So future updates,

mount winch and my new 7" hellas
new tailgate/spare tire mount
gusset sliders
rear bumper
new tires??

stay tuned

What brand size shocks are you runing in the front?

I agree, in an off road rig the V8 swap is more work that it is worth.

Until you do it, ten you wonder why you never did it in the first place......kinda like going to a D60. :icon_rofl:

I have an opportunity to get some 2.0 18"

I would get em. They cost about 450 new, shipped and if you can get em for less than that.....

I was worried about weight using them on mine, they are rated to support up to 1000lbs. I figured I would be close to maxing them out, but I am only running about 350psi in them, 500 is MAX. They would make for some perfect rear shocks to go with a 4 link....

I am very impressed with the stability these shocks give along with the amazing flex.

I agree, there is a place and time for everything. I would love to build a tube buggy thing with a V8 and 60's....

Yeah that was my only drawback to them being I have a 351w up front in mine plus the winch etc.....
