I think the "Never Lift" has became more suiting to my driving style lately, and i like it....

Getting further away from what worked!

Progress!

Just wondering, why are you cutting out the firewall???

And please don't say to make room for a LS7

Sorry, miss read.

I'm moving the motor back for radiator room and up travel.

It should read "never lift the cutoff" wheel lol

Built my frame today. Took longer then I expected, nothing is square, so I spend a lot of time trying to square it back up, almost cut more apart but said f it and called it good enough.

Up next is motor mounting, then axle and tube work...

Made my motor mounts, now just to cut them down to size once I get the motor between the frame rails

Welded up front truss too. Gonna sand blast the axle then get that tacked together.

Looking good so far, Kyle...

Finished the frame minus winch mount and a little gusseting

Finished the front truss

Got the new converter put in, new e4od gears in the trans and bolted back up. The motor and trans are mocked into place, about 7" back, maybe an 1" up. Gotta do a little bit more figuring before I make it permanent

Radiator mounts on the radiator and sump in the cell for the new in tank fuel pump

Looking good. keep it up!

Passenger shock fully bottomed, drivers side fully extended.

Link placement, will be finalized and gusseted. You can see the new trans crossmember too if you care to look

Some new tube work, shock hoops and radiator support

Hood fits

I gotta make some new upper shock tabs, ones on there are temporary. Also thinking of adding more tube to the shock hoops. Hope to have it all mocked up this weekend, then on to the rear.

OK, more tube work on the motor, gonna add a few more after I get the ranger front end in place

Made the tube frame dash and center console today, I like it. It bolted in, it might come out lol.

And tire clearance, it hits the lower, plenty of room on the upper. The lowers can't go in more on the axle, and I don't want it in further on the frame, so there it is... Better then the radius arms though.

Lookin good, Kyle. Thats a similar setup I'm going with my truck when my new axles are purchased...

is there any way those can be bent to clear the tires and still work good???

No, not really. They will just rotate. I think i will be fine, I turned it till it hit, I'm not even sure I can steer that far.
