Knives

Ive had several kershaws and overall they are great knives but had some problems with the screws coming loose, especially when you forget to take them out of your pocket when doin laundry but i cant blame the knife for that. Im also partial to Cold Steel knives but they can be a bit expensive.

not really a fan of cold steel

it just seems like your not getting your moneys worth

but to each his own

Oh yeah, picture time. Farberware, baby. Good for everything from 'glass cloth to sheetmetal--and opens beer bottles too. These are custom modified with a protective coating of epoxy resin. And I asked and my wife does not want them back.

The worn Gerber is about 16 years old used nearly every day, the new one obviously it's replacement. The pretty brass and wood Gerber I have had since 1982, I wore it on my belt and it saved me from severe rope burns repelling. The Leatherman seems like a nice sharp knife but it opens so easily I will only wear it on a belt.

I currently carry a Kershaw "Ken Onion Vapor", its small and doesn't pinch my leg when I set down and the one handed opening is great when Im feeding(beef cattle). The other I carry is my Leathermans, "Core". I would be lost without them. When ever I can't carry them it feels like I am leaving the house without my pants on.......

my buck 110 is like another arm to me

my grandfather bought it when he was 13, which would make it 63 years old. and it's still in excellent condition w/ the orig leather case

Oh, I forgot as it is so much a part of my clothes , always wear a Gerber Multi-Plier

I carry a Kershaw 2415TST like THIS on me all the time, except mine has black walnut inlays (did it myself, the rubber was wearing away after a few years of service), I like this style pocket knife, which sucks that they discontinued it! I think I have nearly one of each model in this style, all 3 sizes, I think I have 3 or 4 of the medium size like I carry now, I've been carrying this style since about '98. I'm lucky with Kershaw though, I work less than a block from their Tualatin Oregon home... I broke the pocket clip off a few months ago, pulled in on my lunch break and they replaced it for free while I waited, not to mention the sales they have in mid december every year... that's where I've bought everything Kershaw that I have...

one of my favorite features of this knife is the direction of the pocket clip, the direction I grab it to pull it out of my pocket is the direction it's held when used unlike 90% of the rest of the knives made (never quite figured out why they are backwards), and I've gotten very quick with the thumb stud thing, I know this knife very well... and now know why not to cut zip ties with it (inch long gash in my shin, I let my guard down)

I guess I live within 15 minutes of Gerber and within an hour from Leatherman too...

naturally my SOG Twitch is one of my favorites- awesome knife and awesome name.

x2 Got one for my Birthday from my rents a couple years back. I love it.

considering the name I didn't really have a choice

i really like having the lockback in a assisted opener, feels more reliable than alot of the other assisteds I've used.

Bear Paw

Usta have a beautiful Uncle Henery Bear Paw folder.

Had it engraved at a gun show, was clearing out my locker from a old job and accidently tossed it in the trash with some junk.

It's been in a landfill near Fremont, Ca. for about 25 years now. REWARD...:bawling:

Sog multi tool, and Cold Steel Recon folder in non-serrated tanto point. Best tools I have ever seen. Quality is outstanding. I have had the same buck mini knife in my pocket daily for the last 25 years.
