2001 Ranger XLT that I call Kermit. It's a decently mild street truck that I commute with every day so until I get another DD, extreme won't exactly be part of this truck. Still mulling around big block swap or forced induction, but that won't be until I'm out of the college life.
Where I'm at now:
What I started with:
Let the Modding begin!
MBRP Catback exhaust, loving the sound
Threw a L/S in the 8.8 from a Mustang (sorry for the mismatched picture size)
Darkened the tail lights and added a cover
Modded the "back seats" to accept some 6" speakers. Not much but they sound pretty good
Shined up the 4.0, planning on painting trim pieces red under the hood. Haven't really decided what though. The 4.0 is out of a wrecked 2003 ranger that my uncle dropped in before I got it. I'd really like to get the 4.0 cover for the TB since I don't seem to have one. But for a motor with less than half the miles of the truck itself, I can make the sacrifice
And currently my biggest fail of a mod so far, the "CAI." I'm leaving it like this for now incase I decide to go FI
To Do List:
Finish my air intake
Break Into the 14's
Slotted and Dotted rotors
Some prettying up
Lower about an inch or two all around
To Done List:
Performance intake filter
Performance tuner from Sniper
MBRP Exhaust
Apparently some add-a-leafs
Limited Slip Differential
New Radio from Panasonic
Remote Start
Wideband O2
Red LED gauge cluster
Halo Projector headlights
