Ordered a set of eagle eyes? Led tail lights from eBay. Same ones you have.

Got tired of no one having lights for a ranger in stock, and to boot cost more the double what they do on eBay.

Friday is going to be paint my headlights black depending on weather.

i love my tails, (other people hate them, so bright!) also, the black heads will look sick on your truck... the trick to it is get them hot the first time so you can get them apart first try, if you have to heat them up several times, they get all cracked looking... if you take a close look at my passenger side headlight, it looks like cracked, tempered glass, i had to heat that one i think 4 times... the drivers side is crystal clear, it was only heated once

I'm going to take my dremel to them. If for some strange reason that still doesn't work you'll get a text that well contain an offer of beer haha.

a dremel? dude... that's not going to end well!

just bake them like you're supposed to, leave them in longer than you should... 2 butter knives and a flathead screwdriver is all you need... i used a beach towel so i didn't burn myself on the metal bitties... nothing was even close to melting when i did mine

corners are a different story, watch them carefully, if they start to turn white, pull them out... i think right as they change would be optimum, but i've not tried it at that point...

mine were both done pure white and melty they both were misshappen and one doesn't fit on the truck any more

Might as well just offer you a case of beer now then haha. My gfs family would murder me for putting truck parts in their oven. Or using the knifes on something other then food.

I'm off Monday and Friday, I've got an oven and knives we can use...

I can probably even dig out the paint for it too, I've got stuff specifically for plastic, gloss black

No, next week, sorry, no days off till Monday...

All you need is masking tape, get painters tape, either green or blue, a sharp razor blade, I am about 99% sure I've got the paint I used... And black silicone, I would use the ge silicone II, personally. I don't remember what I used...

my schedule sucks next week. All mid days, with Thursday off. I know I have painters tape and some silicone(have to double check what kind) I do have some black plastic paint too.

I well also have an extra set of headlights as of tomorrow too(along with some other goodies).

Put the crappier lookin ones on your truck, and we will work on the good ones... Are you getting new corners too or still going to run the night shade ones?

I'm not sure if the corners are included or not. The ones I'm getting are from an 09. Ill probably run the night shade ones for now. Save money.

Picked up an FX4 shifter today and installed it

Also got another set of headlights incase anything bad happens when taking them apart to paint black. Also got the 3rd brake light too.

Finally got some rear Rancho shocks, they are suffering from some rust so I plan to repaint them.

All together cost me a total of $170. Pretty good I think.

I tried pulling apart a spare set of headlights and couldn't get them to come apart to save my life...ended up breaking one. I am just gonna have to break down and buy a set from ebay....

That's the only reason I picked the second set up. If we cant make these work iill just bite the bullet and get some off eBay.
